Students from forms: 1B, 2B and 3D took part in the meeting in classroom no.025

Two teams from 1B i 2B forms prepared and presented posters and aswered questions from the guests on the knowledege of their countries.

What is more, 1B form prepared a quiz for Mechealia  containing questions about Poland. Our guest passed the quiz with flying colours.

Undoubtely, the project provided a marvellous experience both for the students and the guests. It created an excellent opportunity to use English language in everyday social interactions as well as to break down  stereotypes and cultural barriers.

Summer is here!

Dear Students,
Summer break is coming! It is time to unwind, have fun and enjoy your free time.
For sure, you are going to swim, sunbathe and meet friends. But do not forget to practice some English language as well. All you need is a little effort and determination. The internet is an excellent source of materials, exercises, video clips, quizzes etc. Just find what you like and enjoy doing it!
Personally I recommend BBC Learning English where you may find exciting audio and video materials at various levels.

If you find them boring, though, why not listen to your favourite songs with English lyrics or watch some movies with English subtitles
Have fun during your summer holiday and do not forget about English!

One-actor theatre

On 7th April Martyna Michalska (2A form) took part in an acting competionion titled „One-actor theatre” organized by Secondary School No 1 (1LO) in Toruń.
Our contestant put a convincing performance of a lonely, deserted doll based on „‘IT’S A DOLL’S LIFE’ by C.CLARKE.
Her distinct make-up, clothing and well-chosen props added the valuable quality to her excellent performance.

During her performance, Martyna was supported by a large group of her school mates from 2A form.
