In order to celebrate the International Tolerance Day we announced the "Respect for ALL" competition. All students from our school (except for the seniors) could create compeling projects whose aim was to make us reflect on our attitudes towards “the others”.

The reponse from the students went beyond our expectations and more than 110 projects were finally submitted

Stage ONE
Each language group selects the best project for the stage two of the competition.

The 46th National English Language Competition

Timetable
Stage I
On November 4, 2021 at 9.00AM students sit the school test. Time: 60 min. On December 14, 2021, the decision of the Committee on the number of points admitting a student to the stage II of the Olympiad will be announced online.
Stage II
January 10, 2022, the written part of the stage II of the competition will take place. From January 10 to February 12, 2022 students take the oral part of the Competition.
The Final Stage
On 4-5 April 2022 the final stage of the competition takes place in Poznań.

Useful information about the Competition:
Stage I
The test consists of 60 questions on grammar and vocabulary. The standard techniques used in the test cover: transformation and paraphrasing of sentences or phrases, close gap, multiple choice and translation. In view of the constantly growing number of participants, the competition at this stage is very strong, which means that even a good student may have problems.
Stage II
The test is similar in terms of difficulty to the requirements for candidates for studies in English philology. Candidates take two grammar tests (multiple choice and translation), the vocabulary test (inserting words into gaps), the reading test and the global gaps test (cloze test). The last component of the set is the Cultural Test (multiple choice), which is divided into the American and British parts.
The final stage
The final stage of the competition consists of a listening comprehension test, a grammar translation test, a vocabulary test, a reading test and a gaps test. Of course, the level of difficulty of the test is much higher than the requirements for enrollment for the English philology studies.
