WORLD TALKS - an international project in collaboration with AIESEC

On 19th January we are beginning the international project titled
WORLD TALKS
Between 19th and 23rd January students-volunteers from various countries are going to conduct project and conversational classes with our students. They will share their culture, traditions and customs with us. Also we will have the opportunity to discuss important global issues of the modern world.

The main objective of the project is to gain practical knowledge and skills in the English language through various tasks performed with the students-volunteers during their week-long stay in our school.

The WORLD TALKS project is conducted in collaboration with an international organisation

7LO in the FINALS of the Great Britain and Northern Ireland Competition

On 16th December 2014 our school participated in the competition on Great Britain and Northern Ireland. This year the competition was titled
The Beatles - to be in or to be out?”.
Our school was represented by a team of three students from the 2C class:

The gentlemen completed the first stage of the competition successfully and were admitted to the final stage that will take place on 19th March 2015. Our team defeated 14 other teams from various secondary schools from Toruń.

The competition is organized by the Complex of Schools of Economics in Toruń under the academic patronage of the University of Economy in Bydgoszcz.

The main objectives of the competition are:

to motivate students to widen their knowledge on Great Britain and Northern Ireland

to encourage students to study English language

to develop students’ creativity and language and intercultural skills

to help students fulfil their ambitions
