WORLD TALKS - a project session

On Friday we had the last meeting with our guests from abroad.Harry and Jason conducted a project class together. During the session two forms (class 1C and 3C) competed in a quiz on the knowledge of China and Indonesia
Then, the teams prepared questions to Jason and Harry concerning Poland. Both Jason and Harry amazed everyone with their knowledge of our country for such a short stay.
Also, our guests enjoyed the opportunity to watch some of the photos taken in our school during various events such as the Open Day or the Freshmen Party

Finally, the teams prepared
posters regarding any symbols that Polish people associate with either China or Indonesia

In the end, the guests were awarded honorary diplomas by our school headmistress Genowefa Malicka. They also received a thank-you postcard and T-shirts with the logo of our school as a souvenir.
Thank you very much
for all the time you spent with us!

WORLD TALKS - foreign guests

We have had the pleasure to host two international student-trainees in our school since Monday.
The trainees participate in the international project WORLD TALKS within the AIESEC organization. It is the fourth time our school has taken part in that project and this year we host two trainees from China and Indonesia.

Jason Zhan from China FACEBOOK
Harry Kurniawan from Indonesia  FACEBOOK
The trainees conduct classes in the English language, share their culture and traditions with our students, exchange life experiences and their view of the world. During the classes they also have the opportunity to learn more about Poland.

During the classes our students enjoy the opportunity to put their English language skills to the test. Many students have to face the reality how much work still lies ahead of them, while many can appreciate the hard work they do during everyday English classes which proves their effectiveness.

Undoubtedly, the classes with the foreign guests constitute an immensely motivating factor for hard work further immersing into the English language for all of the students from our school.
