On Friday, 12th April, our school participated in the 7th One-Actor Theatre festival in English language organized by High School No.1 in Toruń.

Michał Kalinowski (ILO – Lord Byron „Six Plays) and Magdalena Jułkowska (IVLO “Gone with the Wind”) were granted
The performances were assessed upon such features as language skills, actor's skills, stage motion, facial expression, additional elements of the set and general impression.

3rd place
Filip Okinczyc (7LO - IIIA), a student of our school, presented a short passage of R.R. Martin’s „Game of Thrones”. He did an excellent job performing a conversation between two main characters in the book. That was a difficult task both from language as well as actor's point of view. However, his performance was appreciated by the jury and Filip was awarded the 3rd place in the competition.

Joanna Róg (ILO) who presented “Wrong and ready” by Greta Zhiner.
The second place was awarded to
Marietta Trojanowska (IVLO) who presented „Pride and Prejudice ” by Jane Austin.
