Our guest from the United Kingdom

On 12th June our school hosted a meeting with Francis Kelleher, our guest from the United Kingdom.

Our guest gave presentation on life in the Great Britain and he focused on cultural differences between our country and Great Briatin. Also, our guest shared with us his experiences on his almost one-year-long stay in Poland. 

The meeting was held in the English language so our students (form 1 and 2) had an opportunity to test their listening and speaking skills.

International Teacher Training Day

On Saturday, 16 March English teachers 
of 7th LO partcipated in the 

International Teacher Training Day 

organized by the International House, Toruń.

The teachers took part in the workshops conducted by experts in the field of English teaching. 

The workshop aslo provided ample apportunities to socialise and to share experiences and knowledge. 

That was a great day to improve teaching skills.

III Regional Competition on the United States of America - RESULTS

We are pleased to announce that

Jagoda Szymendera (2B) 

achieved the highest score in the Preliminary Test on the USA Competition.

Marta Florkowska (2B)

 took the second position in the Competition.

on the United States of America 
for students of high schools 
from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. 

Stage I 

Preliminary Test consisting of 45 multiple-choice questions 

Deadline: February 26, 2019 at 10.30 

Stage II 

Advanced test consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions 

Deadline: March 19, 2019 at 11.30.

Stage III 

Final Test. Type of test: preparation and presentation by the participant of a 5-6 minute multimedia presentation followed by a 5-minute conversation with the members of the competition commission. 

The following will be evaluated: the manner and form of the presentation, argumentation, linguistic and phonetic correctness 

Deadline: the third week of April 2019.
