A brief interview with the foreign guests

On Thursday some of the students of 2B interviewed our guests from abroad. Here it is what they said...

Question: What do you think about Toruń and Poland?
Ge: I think that Toruń is very beautiful, not big but very nice. And polish people are very friendly. It’s really fantastic cause I have a chance to know new culture, food and lifestyle.

Question: And what do you think about our students from school?

Iqballa: I think that most of them are nice. But some of them are very shy and they don’t like talking in English. Usually they are talkative and nice.

Question: Can you see some differences in Poland?

Iqballa: Of course in climate. There are four seasons and in Indonesia we have only one season, summer. And there’s a difference in food. We mainly eat rice, you eat everything.
Gizem: Here is so silent, not like in Turkey. It’s not so crowded like my country. But people seem to be the same, friendly. And polish people always ask me “Are you hungry?” .

Question: Polish people love to eat J You’ve said that was the first time you’ve seen snow, right?

Iqballa: Yeah, that’s right! I was freezing when I went out of airplane.

Question: Haha.. :) and you mention that you wear some traditional outfits. Do you?
Ge: No, in my country we wear clothes just like in Europe. Only some people wear traditional clothes.

Iqballa: In our country we wear traditional clothes in some festivals.

Question: How did you get to Poland?

Iqballa: By bus, okay I am joking. By airplane.

Ge: By bus, I live in Germany so it’s quiet near.

Gizem: I got here by airplane.

Question: How do you feel about our country, city?

Gizem: I fell in love with Toruń. I never felt anything while looking on buildings. Here I was like “Wow, those buildings are so beautiful”. First time I was attracted by architecture.

Thank you for the interview!
